The goal of this article is to inspire you to take your Smartsheet data and transform it into a dynamic, interactive report. Smartsheet is a great tool for tracking issues, collaborating, and keeping everyone on the same page. Still, it can quickly become overwhelming when there are a lot of issues spread across different phases, priorities, and owners. It is hard to get the full picture from Smartsheet when data starts piling up. As part of the data team, I always felt like something was missing — a clear, visual way to see where we are and how the progress is going. That’s where Power BI came in as the perfect solution — when you can visualize your data, it is much easier to identify trends, track progress, and make decisions.

If your company is using Microsoft products then you probably have access to Power BI, and as amazing as it is it can link your Smartsheet issue log directly to Power BI and transform your raw data into dynamic dashboards and interactive visualizations.
